Frequently asked questions
Why is 1 m² about 10.76 sq ft, not 3.28?
A meter is 3.28 feet, but a square meter is 1 m × 1 m, which is 3.28 ft × 3.28 ft ≈ 10.76 ft². Always square the length factor for areas.
How big are an acre and a hectare?
An acre is 4,046.86 m² (about 0.405 ha). A hectare is 10,000 m² — a 100 m × 100 m square — which is about 2.47 acres.
Can I convert square feet to cubic feet?
