How the World Clock works

The world clock shows the current time in each city you choose, with its date, its offset from UTC and a sun or moon for day or night. Times come from your device's clock and your browser's time zone database, so daylight saving changes are applied automatically. Add or remove any time zone.

Examples

Noon UTC

At 12:00 UTC it's 17:30 in Colombo (UTC+5:30).

Across the date line

At 20:00 UTC on 30 September it's already 05:00 the next morning in Tokyo.
