How the Schema Markup Generator (JSON-LD) works
Choose a schema type, fill in the fields and copy the generated <script type="application/ld+json"> into the page's HTML — in the <head> or the body. JSON-LD is the structured data format Google recommends: it describes the page to search engines without changing what visitors see.
Five types are supported: Article (including blog and news posts), FAQ page, Breadcrumbs, Organization and Product. Required fields are checked, URLs must be absolute, and characters that could end the script early are escaped. Test the result with Google's Rich Results Test before publishing.

Frequently asked questions
Will schema markup get me rich results?
It makes a page eligible, not guaranteed. Google decides whether to show rich results, and the markup must describe content that is visible on the page. Since August 2023, FAQ rich results appear only for well-known government and health websites, though the markup still helps other search engines understand the page.
Can I add more than one schema to a page?
Yes. Generate each type separately and add each script tag — for example an Article and a BreadcrumbList on the same blog post.
Can I mark up ratings from my own testimonials?
Only ratings that customers really left, shown on the same page. Invented or copied ratings break Google's guidelines and can lead to a manual action.
