How the Lorem Ipsum Generator works
Choose paragraphs, sentences or words and how many you need, then select Generate text. Sentences have 6–14 words and paragraphs 4–7 sentences, so the text looks like real copy in a layout. By default it starts with the familiar “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…”.

Where does lorem ipsum come from?
It's scrambled Latin from Cicero's “De finibus bonorum et malorum”, written in 45 BC. Printers have used it as filler text since the 1500s, and it's still the standard in design.
Why use placeholder text instead of real text?
It lets people judge a layout without being distracted by reading the words. Replace it with real content before publishing — search engines treat lorem ipsum as low-quality content.
Does it mean anything?
Not really. The words are Latin, but they're shuffled, so the sentences have no meaning.
