How the CSV to JSON Converter works
CSV → JSON reads the first row as column names and turns each following row into an object. Quoted fields may contain commas, line breaks and doubled quotes (""), as the CSV standard (RFC 4180) allows. The delimiter — comma, semicolon, tab or pipe — is detected from the first line.
With Detect numbers and true/false, values like 42 and true become JSON numbers and booleans, and empty cells become null. Codes with leading zeros, like ZIP code 01234, stay text. JSON → CSV writes a header from all the keys it finds.
